Where were you that fateful day of September 11, 2001?

Where were you that fateful day of September 11, 2001?  Where were you November 22, 1963 when JFK died?  Can you imagine:  November 22, 1963 a young girl was born in Arizona and then was among the casualties in the January 2011 shooting rampage where a congresswoman was shot? Life came in as death claimed thousands on that fateful morning. Can you imagine the loved ones as they said goodbye to those early that day for the last time not knowing the impending doom of the Twin Towers & the Pentagon & Pennsylvania where Todd Beamer would go down as a hero like Samson did with the Philistines?

Even though America suffered a tragic blow that day, yet something good happened. Politicians came together & prayed. People acknowledged the Sovereignty of Jesus Christ. Families stopped taking each other for granted. America’s spirit was revived for a moment. Just for a moment there was unity, faith, love, peace, & mercy. For a moment, there were no isms (racism/sexism) no blame game, no conspiracy theories, no political foolishness…just for a moment.

Life lesson: take one moment in time to acknowledge God. One moment to love someone. One moment to smile. One moment to reach out & impact someone. Just one moment. Redeem the time.
